Hats off to Jade!

This weekend we celebrated our wonderful niece Jade as she graduated from high school. She is a great blessing in our lives and we are so incredibly proud to call her our niece. She is filled with kindness, generosity, spunk and nurture. She has all of the qualities that make her a prime candidate in a helping field if she should decide to go that route.

Jade, wherever your path may lead, know that simple character traits that you already display will set you apart from the rest. Kindness, integrity, and perseverance, are qualities that cannot be purchased and will follow you regardless of where your career may go. Focus on your character, and become the person you desire to be, lead by example and others will always remember the way you made them feel in your presence. Now is when the real growth begins! Enjoy your journey, and know that we are here to support you!

Ethyn's Graduation Party

Today, Darin and I hosted Ethyn's graduation party in Appleton. Darin was a wonderful side-kick, and helped with all of the cooking and baking! It was lovely to celebrate Ethyn's high school graduation with so many amazing friends and family. He is very blessed to have so much support in his life.  I am also very blessed to have been welcomed into such a wonderful family! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate and support Ethyn as he begins his journey into adulthood.

Princess Layla is Coming Soon!

Today I hosted a baby shower for my brother-in-law, Justin, and his beautiful girlfriend, Sierra. Soon they will welcome their baby girl, Layla. It was a nice relaxing day spent celebrating with friends and family. Thank you to everyone that was able to make it to the shower and to those of you that sent gifts as well! A baby is such a blessing in life and it is truly wonderful to offer support and encouragement to the parents-to-be. We are all looking forward to meeting Layla next month and wishing Mommy and Daddy the best of luck during delivery!

Books have always been one of my favorite gifts to give, as well as to use for decoration.
